A leadership opportunity is available for a Manager of Regional Pharmacy to oversee pharmacy operations across multiple sites within a healthcare system. This role requires strategic oversight and collaboration to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality pharmacy services that align with organizational goals. The position offers a direct hire employment with a Monday–Friday schedule and 24/7 accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct pharmacy operations across assigned sites, focusing on financial performance, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes
  • Partner with the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives
  • Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership on budgeting, operational planning, and problem-solving
  • Foster strong working relationships with medical staff and hospital departments to support patient care goals
  • Oversee pharmacy information systems, inventory control, and supply chain processes
  • Represent pharmacy leadership on key committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Medication Safety, and Nursing/Pharmacy collaboration
  • Manage human resources functions including hiring, performance evaluation, staff development, and engagement strategies
  • Monitor productivity metrics, budget adherence, and patient outcomes to ensure alignment with organizational targets
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy service excellence

Qualifications:

  • PharmD from an accredited college or university
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration or equivalent leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Active Illinois Pharmacist license is mandatory
