An impactful leadership opportunity is available for a Manager of Regional Pharmacy overseeing pharmacy operations across multiple sites within a growing healthcare system. This role plays a pivotal part in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and quality assurance to support exceptional patient care.

Location: Rockford, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with 24/7 accountability

Role Overview:
The Manager of Regional Pharmacy directs all aspects of pharmacy services at assigned locations, partnering with executive leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards. This leader ensures compliance, operational excellence, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement in pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy to plan and implement pharmacy procedures system-wide
  • Oversee financial management including budgeting, productivity, and cost containment efforts
  • Engage with medical and hospital staff to foster strong interdisciplinary relationships
  • Support pharmacy information systems and maintain effective inventory control
  • Participate in critical committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, and Medication Safety
  • Lead human resources functions, including staffing, performance management, and employee development
  • Monitor patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Execute all duties of pharmacy management with accountability for continuous operational improvements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PharmD from an accredited college or university
  • ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory or management experience in a health-system pharmacy setting
  • Active Illinois pharmacist license required
