We are actively seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a high-priority opening. This is a 16+ week contract assignment with potential temp-to-hire options for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Verify medication orders using Epic EMR
- Perform final product verification checks for medication accuracy and safety
- Answer clinical questions and provide drug information to healthcare staff
- Supervise and support pharmacy technician workflow
- Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medication safety standards
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Work Hours
- 16+ week contract assignment
- Potential temp-to-hire opportunity
- Variable day and afternoon shifts
- 8-hour shifts
Experience
- Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
- Strong order verification and clinical support background preferred
- Experience working in fast-paced acute care environments
- Familiarity with automated dispensing systems such EPIC, Pyxis preferred
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree required
- Active Washington Pharmacist license in good standing requires
Other Qualifications
- Full-time immediate availability required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume setting
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused mindset
Compensation expected to be $68.00 - $78.00/hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and interview outcome.
