Travel Inpatient Pharmacist

We are actively seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a high-priority opening. This is a 16+ week contract assignment with potential temp-to-hire options for the right candidate. Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders using Epic EMR
• Perform final product verification checks for medication accuracy and safety
• Answer clinical questions and provide drug information to healthcare staff
• Supervise and support pharmacy technician workflow
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medication safety standards
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

Work Hours

• 16+ week contract assignment
• Potential temp-to-hire opportunity
• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• 8-hour shifts

Experience

• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Strong order verification and clinical support background preferred
• Experience working in fast-paced acute care environments
• Familiarity with automated dispensing systems such EPIC, Pyxis preferred

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree required
• Active Washington Pharmacist license in good standing requires

• Full-time immediate availability required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume setting
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused mindset

Compensation expected to be $68.00 - $78.00/hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and interview outcome.
