Pharmacy Technician - Addison, Texas

A skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician is needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Addison, TX. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in sterile compounding and infusion pharmacy, seeking a dynamic position within a structured team environment.

Work Schedule:

• Tuesday to Friday: 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• On-call rotation: one weekend every 8 weeks (starting after Saturday shift until Monday 8:00 a.m.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding and mixing tasks in the cleanroom environment.
• Rotate between preparation duties in the pharmacy and compounding responsibilities.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality control standards to ensure accurate medication preparation.
• Participate in the on-call weekend rotation to support pharmacy operations as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
• Sterile Compounding Certification required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) credential.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in sterile compounding.
• Proven infusion pharmacy experience.
