Pharmacy Technician | Addison, Texas

Seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in Addison, TX. This role requires proficiency in sterile compounding, infusion experience, and the ability to work across different preparation areas within the pharmacy. The position is offered on a contract-to-hire basis, providing an opportunity for long-term placement.

Schedule:

• Tuesday to Friday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation: one weekend every eighth week (from the end of Saturday’s shift through Monday at 8:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounded medications following standard protocols.
• Rotate between pharmacy preparation and cleanroom mixing duties.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate and timely medication preparation.
• Participate in on-call schedule for urgent compounding needs as required.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
• Sterile Compounding Certification.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in sterile compounding.
• Hands-on experience with infusion preparation and handling.
