Pharmacy Technician - Alamogordo, New Mexico

Seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support hospital pharmacy operations in Alamogordo, NM. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
• Manage inventory and restock pharmacy supplies as needed.
• Support medication compounding and intravenous (IV) preparations, depending on certification.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• IV certification and chemotherapy (Chemo) experience are highly valued and qualify for higher pay rates.
• Familiarity with hospital inpatient pharmacy workflows preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work rotating weekends as part of the schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (rotating schedule, working every 3rd weekend)

Compensation Range (Hourly):

• Pharmacy Tech: $19 - $22
• Pharmacy Tech with IV certification: $20 - $23
• Pharmacy Tech with chemotherapy experience: $23 - $25
