Pharmacy Technician in Alamogordo, NM

This opportunity calls for skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support hospital pharmacy operations in Alamogordo, NM. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment where you will contribute to comprehensive inpatient pharmaceutical care supporting patient health and treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities include accurately preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory control, and assisting pharmacists with daily tasks such as IV admixtures and chemotherapy medication preparation (if certified or experienced). You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure safety and efficiency in medication management.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (rotating schedule, working every third weekend)

Desired Qualifications:

• Experienced Pharmacy Technician certification required
• IV certification preferred for advanced duties
• Chemotherapy preparation experience highly valued
