Travel Pharmacy Tech | Albany, New York

A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in chemotherapy and IV admixture to support a cancer center infusion pharmacy. This travel position is based in the Albany, NY area, requiring commitment to a 13-week or longer assignment with Monday through Friday day shifts.

Location:

• Albany, NY area
• Flexible to travel between three oncology network pharmacies within a 20-mile radius

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts, approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications and IV admixtures with precision and adherence to safety guidelines
• Support pharmacy operations across three oncology sites by floating between locations
• Maintain high standards of aseptic technique and accuracy in drug preparation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy protocols

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in chemotherapy and IV admixture preparation within a pharmacy setting
• PTCB certification highly preferred
• NY state pharmacy technician license NOT required
• Reliable transportation to float between multiple sites within the designated area
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in medication preparation
