This role requires a well-rounded Pharmacy Technician with IV admixture and sterile technique experience, essential for assisting patients with cancer, autoimmune diseases, infections, and other infusion needs.

Location: Albany, OR

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in clinical problem solving and support functions
  • Process medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Participate in patient interaction and education as directed
  • Utilize EPIC EMR system to manage clinical data
  • Maintain sterile technique and prepare IV admixtures with precision
  • Comply with all pharmacy policies and regulatory standards under pharmacist supervision

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current, unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
  • Minimum of 18 months’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Proven experience with pharmacy procedures, including IV admixture and sterile techniques
  • Familiarity with clinical data assessment and problem-solving
  • Computer literacy with keyboarding and calculator skills
  • Successful completion of pre-employment and post-offer drug screening
