This opportunity is for a Certified Pharmacy Technician licensed in Virginia and Maryland to take on a dynamic travel role supporting multiple healthcare facilities throughout Maryland and Virginia. This position serves as a key liaison between the pharmacy and assigned client facilities, ensuring effective medication management and regulatory compliance across the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility leadership and staff to serve as the primary pharmacy contact
  • Understand and address client needs, coordinating closely with pharmacy operations and clinical services teams
  • Provide support and guidance on medication therapy, compliance, medication system training, and survey preparation
  • Conduct monthly onsite visits, medication room inspections, and audits to promote quality and customer success
  • Identify opportunities to expand services or introduce new pharmacy products as appropriate
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Occasional evenings for audits, requiring flexibility
  • Rare weekend work expected

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician licensure in both Virginia and Maryland required
  • PTCB certification highly preferred
  • Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems such as EMAR, Medbank, or Frameworks a plus
  • Reliable transportation necessary; overnight travel may be required
  • Client covers mileage and hotel expenses as incurred
