Support a busy retail pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician with essential skills in PioneerRx software. This per diem opportunity, located in Alexandria, VA, offers a unique chance to gain experience in prescription processing and assist pharmacists in a dynamic environment. The contract assignment spans from June 22 through July 11, with initial training provided from June 22 to June 24.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and fill prescriptions efficiently using the PioneerRx system
- Perform some non-sterile compounding; training will be provided
- Assist the Pharmacist with daily operational tasks
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy protocols
Desired Experience:
- Proficiency with PioneerRx software is mandatory
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting preferred
- Knowledge of non-sterile compounding is a plus; training available
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 6 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM to 1 PM
- Sundays: Closed
