Pharmacy Technician in Allegan, MI

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician role in a retail pharmacy setting located in Allegan, MI. This position offers a temp-to-hire arrangement, providing a pathway to direct hire based on performance and mutual fit. Workdays are Monday through Friday with rotating start times, offering a dynamic schedule that balances structured shifts and variety.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Closed Fridays at 6:00 pm
• No weekend shifts initially; future weekend scheduling possible

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists by accurately preparing and dispensing medications
• Manage inventory and maintain records using pharmacy computer systems
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive retail experience
• Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines pertinent to pharmacy operations
• Utilize Pioneer RX software for prescription processing and documentation (experience preferred)

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license
• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail environment
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy computer system is a strong advantage
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and provide quality patient care
