Pharmacy Technician in Allegan, MI

A pharmacy technician role is available in a retail environment, offering a temp-to-hire opportunity with rotating day shifts. This position requires expertise in pharmacy operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to varying start times throughout the week.

Location: Allegan, MI

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Closed Fridays at 6:00 pm
• No weekend shifts initially; weekend work may be introduced in the future

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with pharmacy regulations
• Manage inventory and assist with prescription processing using Pioneer RX computer system
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication distribution
• Maintain compliance with all state pharmacy laws and company policies

Qualifications:

• Experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail environment
• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license required
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX is a strong advantage
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours within the specified start times
