Pharmacy Technician | Allegan, Michigan

Seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support retail pharmacy operations with flexible day shifts and potential for permanent placement.

Location:

• Allegan, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts with rotating start times (7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, 11:30 am)
• Pharmacy closes early on Fridays at 6:00 pm
• No weekend hours initially, but weekend scheduling may be introduced in the future

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with patient consultation and medication inventory management
• Utilize Pioneer RX computer system for prescription processing and recordkeeping
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards in a retail pharmacy setting

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail environment
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
