A Long-Term Care closed-door mail order pharmacy is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians to fill key data entry roles on a contract basis with the potential to transition to permanent positions. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in working in a specialized setting with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and long-term commitment.

Location: Anaheim, CA
Job Type: Contract to Perm
Schedule:

  • Data Entry Technician 1: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, rotating days off monthly (Sun/Mon off one month, Wed/Thurs off the next)
  • Data Entry Technician 2: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process prescription data entries and support pharmacy operations
  • Work efficiently within a closed-door mail order pharmacy environment
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and sterile compounding IV technicians
  • Adapt to rotating weekend schedules as the pharmacy operates Saturday and Sunday
  • Utilize various EMR systems and frameworks to maintain data integrity

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Prior experience as a pharmacy technician highly preferred, especially with exposure to multiple EMR systems and technology frameworks
  • Experience in sterile compounding IV is a plus but not mandatory
  • Commitment to long-term employment with strong reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and handle job responsibilities independently
  • Willingness to work rotating weekend shifts
