Pharmacy Technician | Anaheim, California

Join an innovative specialty infusion pharmacy located in Orange County as a Pharmacy Technician. This contract position offers an immediate start with a 13-week duration and the potential to transition into a permanent role. Work Monday through Friday during day shifts, supporting critical pharmacy operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input patient demographics, insurance details, type prescription labels, process medication refills, and submit billing claims and authorization requests.
• Label and package injectable medications, ancillary supplies, and oral/topical medications strictly according to patient orders.
• Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate shipments, and confirm deliveries directly with patients.
• Reconcile shipments against packing slips; receive and unpack medications efficiently.
• Perform routine daily and monthly cleaning and disinfection of the IV room, adhering to USP <797> standards and company policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through verbal, written, and in-person communication.
• Support the 340B program integrity and assist with other duties to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Minimum of one year experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or infusion pharmacy settings.
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with IV preparations and sterile compounding procedures.
• Local candidates preferred for ease of training and integration into the team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with regulatory standards.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts.
