Pharmacy Tech | Andover, Kansas

A retail pharmacy technician role is available for a 13-week contract position starting May 4th, based in Andover, KS. This opportunity is within a health center pharmacy setting, offering the chance to work alongside a pharmacist and another technician in a collaborative environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical pharmacy technician tasks such as data entry and filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
• Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacist and other team members to support smooth pharmacy operations.
• Utilize the Rx30 pharmacy system for daily workflow management.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Kansas Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Rx30 system or similar pharmacy software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
