Pharmacy Technician - Antioch, TN

This opportunity offers a 13-week assignment as a Pharmacy Technician within a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy serving approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The role provides hands-on experience with Wellsky pharmacy order entry software, supporting either a customer service or dispensing focus. Candidates may have the chance to transition into a temp-to-hire position, with permanent roles requiring PTCB certification.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Support customer service operations by verifying shipping details, entering new patient information, and updating patient profiles in the pharmacy system
• Assist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in the dispensing role
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless processing and delivery of prescriptions
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulatory standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a mail order or specialty pharmacy environment preferred
• Familiarity with Wellsky pharmacy order entry software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to perform tasks accurately in both customer service and dispensing capacities
• PTCB certification required for permanent hires; certification a strong asset for consideration
