Located in Antioch, TN, this contract role involves working in a pharmacy that handles approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The pharmacy utilizes the Wellsky order entry system and operates without automation, providing a hands-on experience in pharmacy technician responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Role: Verify shipping details, enter new patient information, update patient profiles within the pharmacy software system.
• Dispensing Role: Accurately fill and dispense medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols.
• Maintain strong attention to detail in all tasks to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician preferred, particularly in mail order or specialty pharmacy settings.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems; familiarity with Wellsky is advantageous.
