Pharmacy Technician - Antioch, Tennessee

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a mail order renal specialty pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week with an ASAP start date.

This pharmacy utilizes the Wellsky order entry system and operates without automation, providing a hands-on work environment. Technicians will be assigned to one of two key functions: customer service or dispensing. In the customer service capacity, responsibilities include verifying shipping information, entering new patient details, and updating patient profiles within the pharmacy software. Dispensing technicians focus on accurately filling and dispensing medications to meet patient needs.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately handle prescription information and patient data
• Excellent communication skills for customer service tasks
• Willingness to work full-time hours in a collaborative environment
