Pharmacy Technician | Antioch, Tennessee

Located in a Nashville suburb, this 13-week contract offers a dynamic role supporting a mail order renal specialty pharmacy that processes approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. With potential to transition to a temp-to-hire position, this opportunity provides stability and growth in a specialized pharmacy setting.

Schedules are flexible, with two shifts available:

• Day Shift: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Full-time 40 hours per week commitment is required, with an ASAP start.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing customer service tasks such as verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles using the Wellsky order entry system
• Filling and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Working collaboratively with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operation of daily processes
• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy procedures and regulations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, ideally Wellsky, or ability to quickly learn new technology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills for customer service interactions
• Ability to work effectively in either customer service or dispensing roles
