Pharmacy Technician | Antioch, Tennessee

This position offers an opportunity to work in a busy mail order, renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The role involves either a customer service-focused or dispensing-oriented Pharmacy Technician position, supporting efficient pharmacy operations.

Location:

• Antioch, TN

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• In a customer service role: verify shipping information, enter new patient details, and update patient profiles using the pharmacy’s software system
• In a dispensing role: accurately fill and dispense medications following pharmacy protocols
• Operate within a pharmacy environment using the Wellsky order entry system, without automation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with pharmacy order entry systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and data entry
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and collaboration with pharmacy staff
• Ability to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
