Pharmacy Technician | Antioch, Tennessee

This opportunity is for an IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations with a focus on accurate prescription filling and IV preparation. The role involves working closely under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and collaborating with pharmacy management to ensure quality, compliance, and smooth workflow. This 13-week contract could transition to a permanent role based on performance.

Location: Antioch, TN
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Type: Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV medications and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Enter prescription and billing data accurately to support reimbursement processes
• Prepackage medications according to established standards and government regulations
• Assist pharmacists in final checks of filled prescriptions, including medication verification and packaging
• Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of medications to customers
• Maintain inventory by receiving, rotating, and tracking medications and supplies, including lot numbers and expiration dates
• Support maintenance of a clean and safe work environment; perform equipment calibration and cleaning as needed

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required
• Prior experience with IV or infusion pharmacy settings is essential
• National pharmacy technician certification preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict regulations and procedures
