Pharmacy Tech | Antioch, Tennessee

An established infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract, with potential for contract-to-hire based on performance. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and collaboration under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Location: • Antioch, TN

Schedule: • Monday – Friday • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities: • Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under direct pharmacist supervision • Assist in prepackaging medications according to regulatory standards and guidelines • Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data accurately for reimbursement processing • Support pharmacists with final prescription checks and medication packaging • Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of medications to customers • Assist in inventory management, including receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining accurate documentation of lot numbers and expiration dates • Help maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure equipment calibration and cleanliness

Desired Experience and Qualifications: • Prior experience specifically with IV/Infusion pharmacy technician duties is required • Current Tennessee pharmacy technician license in-hand • National certification preferred but not mandatory • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work effectively within a team and follow regulatory protocols
