Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Arlington Heights, Illinois

Support medication management within a behavioral hospital setting as a Pharmacy Technician in Arlington Heights, IL. This per diem opportunity involves facilitating the accurate filling and delivery of medications, contributing directly to patient care on inpatient units. The role includes working with up to 10,000 steps daily, supporting order entry and site automation systems, and requires flexibility with shift hours and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Must hold a valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• Ability to walk up to 10,000 steps per day
• Willingness to complete 2-3 days of training/orientation before starting
• Comfortable wearing scrubs (black/gray) or business casual attire that meets dress code standards
• Adherence to facility appearance policy including natural hair color, closed-toed shoes, and no jeans or rips in clothing

Responsibilities:

• Fill and deliver medications to patient care units accurately and efficiently
• Utilize HCS Order Entry System and Omnicell automation technology (training provided)
• Provide coverage approximately 2-3 shifts per week from 6 AM to 4 PM, with potential longer hours or weekend shifts as needed
• Maintain compliance with dress code and facility policies to ensure a professional environment
