Pharmacy Tech | Arlington, Texas

Immediate opening for a Pharmacy Technician to support a specialized AIDS/HIV pharmacy in Arlington, TX. This 13-week contract position offers the opportunity to apply your pharmacy skills in a compassionate, patient-centered environment starting April 6th. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This role requires someone who can perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties, including accurate data entry and dispensing medications. Given the sensitive nature of the population served, the ideal candidate must demonstrate respect, empathy, and non-judgmental communication with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications following established protocols within an AIDS/HIV specialty pharmacy
• Perform accurate data entry to maintain patient and prescription records
• Communicate effectively and sensitively with patients, supporting a respectful environment

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience
• Previous experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing strongly required
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred (please confirm experience)
• TX Pharmacy Technician license required; PTCB certification is a plus
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting
• Spanish language skills highly preferred but not mandatory
