Pharmacy Technician - Arlington, TX

A pharmacy technician with specialized sterile compounding expertise is sought for a contract-to-hire role located in Arlington, TX. This position plays a critical role in supporting pharmacy operations by preparing and mixing sterile compounds in a highly regulated cleanroom environment. The technician will work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure safe and accurate medication preparation for infusion therapies.

Schedule/Hours:

• Tuesday to Friday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation: 1 weekend every 8 weeks (on-call starts at end of Saturday shift and continues until 8:00 AM Monday)

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Sterile Compounding Certification
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of sterile compounding experience
• Strong background in infusion preparation is a must

Responsibilities:

• Perform rotating assignments between sterile preparation in the pharmacy and mixing in the cleanroom
• Follow strict aseptic techniques and comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines
• Accurately prepare sterile compounded medications for infusion therapies
• Participate in maintaining a clean, sterile environment and ensure proper handling of all materials
• Support the pharmacy team by efficiently managing workload and adhering to established protocols
