Pharmacy Technician in Arlington, TX

Seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support a dynamic pharmacy team in Arlington, TX. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities involving sterile preparation and cleanroom mixing within a contract-to-hire framework. The position requires dedication to precision and adherence to safety protocols while working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Tuesday through Friday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation: one weekend every eighth week (from end of Saturday shift until Monday 8:00 AM business opening)

Responsibilities:

• Rotate between sterile preparation tasks and cleanroom mixing activities
• Prepare and compound sterile pharmaceuticals with precision and compliance
• Maintain a sterile and organized work environment following established protocols
• Participate in an on-call rotation providing emergency support as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Sterile Compounding Certification required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of sterile compounding experience in a pharmacy setting
• Strong infusion experience essential for this role
