A retail pharmacy in Broadlands, VA is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a per diem position covering June 22nd through July 11th. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in PioneerRx pharmacy systems who are ready to provide reliable support in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided from June 22nd to June 24th to ensure a smooth transition.
Location: Arlington, VA (covering shifts at a retail location in Broadlands, VA)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately entering and filling prescriptions using PioneerRx
- Assisting the pharmacist with daily operational tasks
- Performing non-sterile compounding as needed (training provided)
- Maintaining compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with the PioneerRx pharmacy system (required)
- Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
