Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Arlington, Virginia

A retail pharmacy in Broadlands, VA, is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for per diem coverage from June 22nd through July 11th. This opportunity requires proficiency with the PioneerRx system, as it is essential for daily operations. Training on system use and some compounding techniques will be provided from June 22nd to June 24th.

Location: Arlington, VA (with work at the retail pharmacy in Broadlands, VA)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and fill prescriptions efficiently using the PioneerRx system
• Assist the Pharmacist with various duties including prescription review and customer service
• Perform non-sterile compounding procedures; training will be provided at the start of the contract
• Maintain accuracy and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software (required)
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, prescription processing, and non-sterile compounding
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff
