Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Ashburn, VA

A retail pharmacy in Broadlands, VA, seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a per diem position covering June 22nd through July 11th. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, community-focused environment. Candidates must have prior experience with PioneerRx, as proficiency with this system is essential from day one.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and fill prescriptions using PioneerRx software
• Assist the Pharmacist in daily operations and patient care
• Perform some non-sterile compounding tasks with training provided during the initial days
• Maintain organized prescription documentation and ensure compliance with protocols

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience with the PioneerRx pharmacy system (required)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

This position offers training from June 22nd to June 24th to support your integration with the workflow and compounding procedures. The schedule supports a work-life balance with weekend hours limited to half-days on Saturdays.
