This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in oncology and infusion therapy. The role is based in Atlanta, GA, and involves working within an outpatient oncology infusion center focused on chemotherapy and hematology treatments. The position is a 13-week contract, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient infusion setting
• Perform IV starts and access implanted ports efficiently and safely
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication handling and patient care
• Support infusion center operations and maintain compliance with protocols

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology/infusion pharmacy settings
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
• Strong skills in IV starts and implanted port access
• Knowledge of outpatient oncology treatment procedures; no blood transfusion duties involved

Location:

• Position located in Atlanta, GA
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the location (no local candidates)

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
