An immediate opening is available for an Evening Shift IV Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility in Woodridge, IL. This direct hire position requires a dependable professional with a strong commitment to reliable attendance and sterile compounding expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to ensure sterility and compliance with USP 797 standards and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform thorough quality assurance checks on compounded medications for accuracy and safety.
  • Manage medication inventory to maintain adequate supplies and minimize waste.
  • Utilize Frameworks software system; training is available for qualified candidates.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume environment processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Rotating weekends every other week

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Proven experience in sterile compounding within a pharmacy setting.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
  • Dependability and excellent attendance history are essential for this critical role.
