Pharmacy Technician - Aurora, IL

An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled evening shift sterile compounding technician in a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy setting. This role requires a reliable pharmacy technician with strong attendance and experience in sterile compounding to join a growing team focused on delivering high-quality intravenous (IV) medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare intravenous (IV) medications following strict aseptic techniques to ensure sterility
• Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain product safety and accuracy
• Manage inventory levels efficiently to support daily pharmacy operations
• Ensure all compounding activities comply with USP 797 standards and applicable regulations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Rotating schedule every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory
• Proven experience in sterile compounding within a pharmacy environment
• Strong commitment to reliability and excellent attendance

Additional Information:

• Willingness to train on Frameworks software system
• Pharmacy processes approximately 600 prescriptions per day, requiring efficiency and accuracy
• Position is direct hire with an immediate start date
