This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient hospital operations in Aurora, IL. This contract role spans approximately 13 weeks with intent for hire, offering the chance to apply both technical skills and sterile compounding expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, rotating shifts: • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM • 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties including batch compounding and preparation of medication.
- Prepare and maintain sterile compounded medications in the clean room environment.
- Assemble and replenish crash carts accurately and timely.
- Manage Omnicell and auto cart fill systems to support inpatient pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff to ensure proper medication distribution and compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven inpatient hospital experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Competent in sterile compounding techniques and clean room procedures.
- Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license.
- Current PTCB certification.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
