This position is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician experienced in inpatient hospital settings, focusing on both operational tasks and sterile compounding responsibilities. Working within a dynamic inpatient hospital environment, you will support medication preparation, ensure accurate compounding, and assist with maintaining crash carts to ensure timely patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties including preparation and distribution of medications.
  • Compound sterile products in a clean room environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and replenish crash carts to support emergency medical situations.
  • Manage Omnicell and auto cart fill systems efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical staff to support patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
  • Solid experience working as a pharmacy technician in an inpatient hospital environment.
  • Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment with attention to detail.

Location: Aurora, IL

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, rotating shifts including 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Rotating weekends.

This is a 13-week contract role with intent for hire, offering a hands-on opportunity to expand your skills within a supportive healthcare setting.
