A healthcare facility in Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a per diem position with scheduled shifts throughout July 2026. This role focuses on the accurate distribution of medications, providing essential information to patients, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Counsel patients and healthcare staff on proper medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and facility policies.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other team members to ensure seamless pharmacy operations.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Pharmacist License is required.
- Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings is strongly preferred.
