A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Austin, TX, offering a per diem schedule with consistent hours. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately distributing medications prescribed by healthcare providers and delivering exceptional customer service.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8 hours)
- Per diem availability needed on these dates from April 20 to May 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and authorized practitioners
- Provide clear and helpful information to customers about medication usage and safety
- Maintain a high standard of customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to support pharmacy operations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients and healthcare professionals
