Pharmacy Technician in Battle Creek, MI

Location:

• Battle Creek, Michigan

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, rotating shifts starting at 6:30 am, 7:00 am, and 8:30 am (8-hour shifts)
• Second shift starting at 2:30 pm
• Rotating weekends with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Total 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Fill Pyxis machines and deliver medication orders to nursing floors efficiently
• Conduct nursing unit inspections to ensure compliance and safety
• Perform IV compounding with precision following established protocols
• Utilize Pyxis and Cerner systems to manage medication distribution and documentation

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Pyxis automated medication systems
• Skilled in IV compounding procedures within a hospital setting

Contract Details:

• Contract duration of 13 weeks with a signed agreement
