A healthcare facility in the Portland, OR area is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support their retail and long-term care pharmacy operations on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a customer-focused environment and values accuracy in medication distribution.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours daily)
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately distributing medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
- Providing valuable information to customers regarding medication use and safety
- Delivering outstanding customer service to ensure a positive patient experience
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential
