A temporary lead technician role is available at a behavioral health facility specializing in adolescent and adult care. This position requires pharmacy technician expertise with the ability to support inpatient or retail pharmacy operations within a mental health setting.

Location:

  • Fayetteville, AR

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Coverage begins July 27th, full-time 40 hours per week until the permanent position is filled

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately fill medication orders and deliver medications to designated med rooms
  • Manage and stock pharmacy inventory efficiently
  • Receive, process, and reconcile daily warehouse orders and invoices
  • Review and process medication recalls promptly
  • Assist in med room audits and perform various supportive pharmacist tasks
  • Participate in two days of hospital orientation followed by on-site training by the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacist
  • Utilize the HCS order entry system (training provided)
  • Support the upcoming implementation of Omnicell automation (experience preferred but not mandatory)

Qualifications:

  • Current Arkansas pharmacy technician license required
  • National certification preferred
  • Experience working as an inpatient or retail pharmacy technician strongly desired
  • Ability to adhere to business casual dress code or wear scrubs in any color except blue (to differentiate staff from patients)

Additional Information:

  • Staff size includes approximately 1.2 pharmacist full-time equivalents
  • If local candidates are unavailable, travel considerations such as mileage and hotel accommodation will be discussed
