Support outpatient pharmacy operations in a community care setting as a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician, providing critical coverage during sick days, vacations, and call-outs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment with potential for future full-time positions.

Location:

  • Oakland, CA

Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist pharmacists with daily retail duties including prescription processing and customer service
  • Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmacy supplies
  • Support compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy

Desired Qualifications:

  • California Pharmacy Technician License required
  • Prior retail pharmacy technician experience preferred, but candidates from other pharmacy backgrounds will be considered
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and reliably in a per diem capacity
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach
