Support outpatient pharmacy operations in a community care setting as a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician, providing critical coverage during sick days, vacations, and call-outs. Schedule:
- Monday through Saturday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions and regulatory guidelines
- Assist pharmacists with daily retail duties including prescription processing and customer service
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmacy supplies
- Support compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy
Desired Qualifications:
- California Pharmacy Technician License required
- Prior retail pharmacy technician experience preferred, but candidates from other pharmacy backgrounds will be considered
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a per diem capacity
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach
