A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available at a retail and long-term care setting in Ammon, ID, on a per diem basis. This role focuses on the accurate distribution of medications prescribed by healthcare practitioners, coupled with providing excellent customer service and medication guidance.
Schedule:
- Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Specific dates from March 23 through April 21, 2026
- Each shift approximately 8.5 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense medications according to physician and healthcare provider prescriptions
- Offer clear, helpful information to customers regarding medication usage and safety
- Maintain a high standard of customer service to support patient care
- Support the pharmacy team in retail and long-term care pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid ID Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently during scheduled hours
