Pharmacy Tech | Blue Springs, Missouri

A retail-focused Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for approximately 32 hours per week, offering a pathway to permanent employment with comprehensive benefits. Location:

• Blue Springs, MO (Kansas City area)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients both in person and over the phone, addressing questions, and resolving medication or insurance concerns
• Accurately process prescriptions including data entry, insurance billing, and labeling, while managing a high volume of approximately 150 prescriptions per day
• Participate in non-sterile compounding of medications following established protocols and safety standards (training provided)
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details and ensure timely dispensing
• Maintain inventory control, stock medications, and organize pharmacy supplies to support smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum one year of retail pharmacy technician experience; experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail setting is essential
• PTCB certification is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong team player with a determined and positive attitude, ready to engage with a busy pharmacy environment
