Pharmacy Technician - Blue Springs, Missouri

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with a retail background to contribute to a busy pharmacy team. This role offers approximately 32 hours per week with the potential for permanent employment and full benefits upon completion of the temp-to-perm period. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM or 10:00 AM–5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting patients both in person and over the phone, addressing questions, and resolving medication or insurance concerns
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including data entry, insurance billing, and labeling, managing an average volume of 150 prescriptions per day
• Support non-sterile compounding activities, with training provided, ensuring medications are prepared safely and according to established guidelines
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure timely dispensing
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by stocking medications and organizing supplies properly

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience; comfort with high patient interaction and foot traffic is essential
• PTCB certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and determination to succeed
