Pharmacy Technician | Blue Springs, Missouri

Join a dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician supporting a busy retail location in Blue Springs, MO. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts between 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting patients both in-person and via phone, resolving medication and insurance inquiries efficiently
• Accurately process prescriptions, including data entry, insurance billing, and labeling in a high-volume environment averaging 150 prescriptions per day
• Support non-sterile compounding tasks following safety protocols and training
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure timely medication dispensing
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, restock medications, and organize supplies to support smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience preferred; high patient interaction and fast-paced environment exposure essential
• PTCB certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and a determination to grow professionally
