A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door, long-term care (LTC) facility. This role is based in Bardonia, New York, and offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment supporting medication preparation and distribution with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents.
  • Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and medication records.
  • Cross-train in the dosage department and toting operations.
  • Utilize the Frameworks software system, with training provided.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Rotating weekends required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
  • New York State pharmacy technician license preferred, but not required.
  • PTCB certification preferred, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
