An opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Production Pharmacy Technician within a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility located in Bardonia, New York. This direct hire position focuses on medication preparation and management in the dosage department, supporting timely delivery to residents with a structured weekend work schedule.

Location: Bardonia, NY
Position Type: Direct Hire
Shift Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Days off: Tuesday and Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications using appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose systems to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with medication ordering, receiving, stocking, and storage, ensuring expiration dates are monitored accurately.
• Maintain precise records related to patients and medication handling.
• Operate and learn Frameworks software system to support pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• New York State Pharmacy Technician License is preferred but not required.
• PTCB certification is an asset but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt to a production-focused environment processing approximately 600 prescriptions daily.
