Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Bronx, NY

This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing and customer service in a retail pharmacy environment. Location:

• Newark, New Jersey

Schedule/Hours:

• Per Diem (PRN)
• Shifts: 1st shift
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Assignment dates: May 18th, May 22nd, May 27-29th, June 1-5

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription orders safely and efficiently.
• Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate supply levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs and concerns.
• Communicate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey (required)
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred to enhance communication with diverse customers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and dispensing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting
• Good problem-solving skills, especially related to insurance adjudications
