Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Bronx, New York

This opportunity offers the chance to serve as a Retail Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis, assisting in daily pharmacy operations. The position is based in Newark, New Jersey, and requires availability for specified shifts between May 18th and June 5th. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the first shift.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications.
• Manage and maintain OTC inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels.
• Greet customers and provide attentive, helpful service in addressing their pharmacy needs.
• Resolve prescription adjudication issues through interaction with third-party insurance plans to ensure efficient processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license for the state of New Jersey is required.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred to better assist a diverse customer base.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

This is a contract role with specific assignments on May 18th, 22nd, 27th-29th, and June 1st-5th.
