Pharmacy Technician | Bronx, New York

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door long-term care facility located in the Bronx, NY. This role is focused on day shift production, requiring dedication to accurate and efficient medication preparation and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose formats to ensure timely delivery to residents. Additional duties include assisting with medication ordering, receiving, and stocking while maintaining proper storage conditions and monitoring expiration dates. Maintaining precise patient and medication records is essential to support safe and effective patient care.

Shift Schedule:

• Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Friday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Sunday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience
• NY State Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required
• PTCB certification preferred but not required
• Willingness to work with Frameworks software; training provided
• Comfortable handling a high volume of approximately 600 prescriptions per day
• Commitment to Thursday through Sunday availability
