This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door, long-term care facility focused on delivering efficient medication services to residents. The role requires working a Thursday through Sunday day shift, with responsibilities centered on accurate medication preparation and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications in appropriate packaging, such as blister packs and unit-dose, ensuring timely delivery to residents.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, maintaining proper storage conditions and monitoring expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate patient and medication records to support safe and compliant pharmacy operations.
  • Utilize the Frameworks software system; training will be provided to candidates without prior experience.

Schedule:

  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience.
  • New York State Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required.
  • PTCB certification preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to work the specified four-day schedule (Thursday through Sunday).
  • Ability to learn and operate the Frameworks software system.
