Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Brooklyn, New York

This role offers an opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support retail pharmacy operations on a per diem basis. The position requires attention to detail, customer service excellence, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

• Newark, New Jersey

Schedule:

• Per diem
• Shifts: 1st shift
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Term of assignment includes May 18th, May 22nd, May 27-29th, and June 1-5th

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the computer system.
• Assist a licensed pharmacist in the dispensing of prescription medications.
• Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and addressing customers’ needs or concerns.
• Work with third-party prescription plans, resolving adjudication issues to ensure smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while multitasking.
• Effective interpersonal skills to interact well with customers and healthcare professionals.
