Pharmacy Technician - Brooklyn, NY

An established pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in home infusion or compounding to support their expanding operations. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Brooklyn, NY, with immediate start availability.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with flexible start times at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM
• Rotating weekend shifts required
• Hours of operation: 7 days a week, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile medications following proprietary workflow systems
• Maintain accurate compounding records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members for medication orders and follow-up
• Support various pharmacy operations, including phone communications with patients and providers

Qualifications:

• Experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings (inpatient-only candidates will not be considered)
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in California preferred
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification highly desired
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and providers
• Ability to adapt to proprietary workflow systems and maintain high accuracy
