A well-established oncology practice specializing in patient-centered cancer care is seeking a skilled Admixture Pharmacy Technician to join their outpatient oncology clinics across the San Fernando region. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with on-site pharmacies supporting leading hematologists and oncologists dedicated to innovative cancer treatment and compassionate patient support.
Location:
- Burbank, CA, with travel flexibility across Santa Clarita, Glendale, Northridge, and nearby clinics within the San Fernando region.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Thursday
- Day shift only
Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile admixture compounding in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Support pharmacy operations across multiple outpatient oncology clinics
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Ensure adherence to protocols for preparation and handling of chemotherapy and other oncologic agents
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff to meet patient-specific medication needs
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines
- Travel as needed to various clinic locations within the region
Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician with an emphasis on sterile compounding
- Strong knowledge of oncology pharmacy protocols and safety standards
- Ability and willingness to travel to multiple clinic sites within the region
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
