A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Admixture Pharmacy Technician in outpatient oncology clinics serving the San Fernando region. This position involves working within on-site pharmacies supporting patient-centered cancer care.
The role requires expertise in sterile compounding and admixture preparation. Flexibility to travel to multiple clinic locations—including Santa Clarita, Glendale, and Northridge—is essential to meet operational needs. This position offers a Monday through Thursday day shift schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compound sterile oncology admixtures following strict protocols
- Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation for cancer treatments
- Maintain inventory and proper documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate with pharmacists and clinical teams to optimize patient care
- Support multiple outpatient clinic locations as needed through travel flexibility
Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician with sterile compounding experience
- Knowledge of oncology pharmacy practices preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to adapt to various clinic environments and travel as required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
