Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient Retail Setting
Location: Southeast Iowa (Burlington area)
Type: Contract, 13+ weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support outpatient pharmacies serving Southeast Iowa communities. The role involves working directly in retail pharmacy environments to assist customers and ensure timely, accurate prescription dispensing. The position requires availability to start as soon as possible and the commitment of a 13-week contract with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Assist customers with inquiries and pharmacy services
• Verify insurance coverage and process claims
• Manage pharmacy inventory and stock levels
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent experience
• Ability to obtain an Iowa Pharmacy Technician license promptly
• Prior experience working in a retail or outpatient pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Customer-focused with the capability to work independently and as part of a team
