Pharmacy Tech - Burnsville, Minnesota

A pharmacy technician position is available for a 13-week contract-to-hire assignment in Burnsville, MN. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts between 10:00 AM and 8:30 PM, including weekends.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. The technician will assist with data entry for billing and reimbursement, prepackage medications in compliance with regulations, and support pharmacists in the final review and packaging of prescriptions. Additional duties involve maintaining inventory accuracy, receiving and rotating medications, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment by routine equipment checks and sanitation.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license (must have license in hand)
• Ability to work varying shifts including weekends
• Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred; candidates with retail experience will be considered and provided training
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow regulatory standards and work under pharmacist supervision

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, or 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday)
