Pharmacy Technician in Camden, NJ

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians ready to work overnight shifts in a closed-door long-term care pharmacy setting. The role involves preparing medications for timely delivery to residents, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining accurate medication records. This position offers a direct hire arrangement, with a start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, monitoring for proper storage and expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records in compliance with facility standards.
• Work assigned shifts covering either Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Utilize the Frameworks software system; training will be provided.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience in a related setting.
• NJ State Pharmacy Technician License is preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.
