A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support its inpatient hospital pharmacy team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment utilizing advanced technologies such as Meditech for order entry and Pyxis automation systems.
This role follows a unique 7 on/7 off schedule working the night shift from 9 PM to 7 AM, typically Thursday through Thursday, for a 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire. Candidates with strong inpatient pharmacy experience and a focus on sterile compounding will thrive in this setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
- National certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proven experience with inpatient pharmacy operations
- Hands-on experience with sterile compounding procedures
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication automation system
Responsibilities include accurate medication order entry using Meditech, preparing and verifying sterile compounds, managing inventory through Pyxis automation, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and timely delivery of medications to patients.

- Inpatient hospital pharmacy
- Night shift: 9 PM to 7 AM
- 7 days on, 7 days off rotation (usually Thursday through Thursday)
