Pharmacy Technician in Carmel, IN

An opportunity for experienced pharmacy technicians to support a dynamic mail order and specialty pharmacy environment is available. This contract-to-hire position is based in Carmel, IN, and offers a chance to transition into a full-time role with direct hire potential.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately processing and verifying prescription orders in a high-volume setting
• Collaborating closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery
• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulatory standards
• Managing inventory and performing quality checks to ensure product integrity
• Adapting to shift changes starting on day shift (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) with transition to 2nd shift (12:30 pm – 9:00 pm) as evening pharmacists are established
• Occasionally working on weekends as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably within high-volume retail or mail order pharmacies
• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license is required
• Proven reliability and strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team setting

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Initial day shift (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) transitioning to permanent 2nd shift (12:30 pm – 9:00 pm)
• Possible weekend work
