Pharmacy Technician - Carmel, Indiana

An established mail order specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Carmel, IN. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting specialty medication dispensing. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and process prescriptions in a high-volume mail order or specialty pharmacy setting
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Manage inventory, label medications, and verify patient information
• Assist with quality assurance and comply with all regulatory standards
• Flexibility to work initial day shifts (8am–5pm) before transitioning to second shift (12:30pm–9pm), Monday through Friday with possible weekend hours

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years current or very recent experience as a pharmacy technician
• Proven background in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environments
• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license required
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Location & Schedule:

• Position based in Carmel, Indiana
• Shift begins on days (8am–5pm), transitioning to 2nd shift (12:30pm–9pm)
• Monday through Friday with occasional weekends
