Mail Order Pharmacy Technician - Cave Creek, AZ

An established mail order pharmacy located near Scottsdale is seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician for an immediate contract opportunity with potential to convert to permanent based on performance. This role requires a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a professional demeanor and strong multitasking skills who can adapt to varying shifts.

Location: Cave Creek, AZ (commute vetting is essential)

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and/or 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Monday through Friday, no weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter new prescriptions, refills, and patient data into the order management system
• Count, dispense, and label medications in strict adherence to safety guidelines
• Prepare medication shipments for mailing, including printing labels, sorting packages, and coordinating with courier services to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and compliant pharmacy environment according to Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and national certification required
• Demonstrated accuracy, adaptability, and strong attention to detail
• Dependable with excellent punctuality and accountability
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to follow directions and engage in continual learning

This contract role starts immediately and will run for approximately 13 weeks with a strong possibility of contract-to-hire status for candidates who perform reliably and demonstrate commitment.
