Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Champaign, IL

Provide essential support as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting to ensure efficient and safe medication dispensing. This per diem role is based in Champaign, Illinois, with shifts scheduled for September 15-16 from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately entering patient information and prescription orders into pharmacy computer systems.
• Assisting pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions in compliance with safety standards.
• Managing and ordering over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Delivering excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs or concerns.
• Resolving adjudication issues by working with third-party prescription plans to ensure smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
• Previous experience with Pioneer Rx is preferred but not required.
