Support frontline pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Technician providing essential assistance in prescription processing and customer service at a busy retail location in Champaign, Illinois. This per diem opportunity covers two weekday shifts from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm on September 15th and 16th, offering flexibility and hands-on experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately entering patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
  • Assisting pharmacists in the dispensing of prescription medication.
  • Managing and replenishing over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Greeting and assisting customers with their needs, delivering outstanding service.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving claim adjudication issues by interacting with third-party prescription plans.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Must hold a clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.
  • A minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience is required.
  • Experience with Pioneer Rx software is preferred but not mandatory.
