Pharmacy Technician Chandler, AZ | Temp-to-Perm

A veterinary compounding pharmacy in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity in their mail-order compounding lab. This is an exciting chance for technicians who want to transition into animal pharmacy, mail-order, or expand their compounding skill set. Training will be provided for non-sterile compounding.

Schedule / Shifts (Full-Time, multiple options)

• Monday–Friday: 1:30pm - 10pm

Assignment Term

• Temp-to-Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing high-quality medications tailored for individual patients

• Compound non-sterile medications including capsules, oral liquids, topicals, nasal preparations, tablets, or treats

• Label prescriptions and prepackage bulk medications

• Monitor inventory levels, manage reorders, and receive inventory

• Maintain cleanliness with daily, weekly, and monthly environmental cleaning

• Perform environmental monitoring and validation testing per policy

• Ensure accuracy, focus, and attention to detail in all compounded products

• Support timely delivery of medications to pet owners and veterinarians

Required Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician experience required

• Strong attention to detail, math skills, and focus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Willingness to learn compounding techniques (training provided)
